Several Indian workmen can be seen on site next to building materials. The Cellular Jail was a colonial prison located on the Andaman Islands, and was used to exile prisoners from mainland India. The construction of the prison started in 1896 and was completed in 1906. Handwritten caption reads: Cellular Jail. Aberdeen.
