Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 15, 1946 Herculite tempered plate glass, made by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, now offers full vision and total safety to hockey fans at the Pittsburgh Hornet's home games. The Herculite glass is four to five times stronger than heavy plate glass. It can withstand the bone-crushing shock of the furious ice sport.
