Quinton, Oklahoma, May 25, 1946 This is an air view of a small fraction of the thousands of surplus Navy aircraft lined up at the Naval Air Station in Clinton, Okla., whose parts are now being fed back into commercial channels to become window frames, linoleum stripping, ornamental fixtures and alloys for the steel or chemical industries through a program for the disposal of surplus aircraft aluminum scrap instituted by the navy department.
