Car bombing in Jerusalem
Légende
Fourteen dead and many wounded in the latest major guerrilla warfare between Jews and Arabs in Palestine. The fight began in a market square in Jerusalem when a bomb was thrown into the crowd of Arabs from a taxi occupied by Jews disguised as Arabs. This bomb was a tar barrel filled with explosives. Fourteen Arabs were killed and many others injured. The British Royal Air Force police immediately opened fire on the fighters from the roof of their headquarters at Damascus Gate and on the taxi which was speeding away from the market.
