Crusade against Catalonia led by Philip III of France. Fire of Peralada in 1285, during the invasion of the French king Philip the Bold (1245-1285). Due to the shortage of food in the town of Peralada, King Peter III of Aragon, Dalmau de Rocaberti, the Counts of Pallars, Urgell, Cardona and other noblemen met and decided to leave. When the Almogavars departed, they executed Dalmau de Rocaberti's orders for Peralada to be set on fire and destroyed. Fire of Peralada ordered by its own lord, Dalmau de Rocaberti (d. 1304).
