In this miniature from ""Vigiles de Charles VII"" that dates to 1484, Henri VI of England is shown being crowned king of France as well. The coronation took place on December 16, 1431, when Winchester, a cardinal from England, cane to Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and crowned the young Henry with the two crowns, one of England and one of France. This happened after the French, under Joan of Arc, defeated the English and the English were trying to protect their interest in France.
