Boston, Massachusetts, November 4, 1925 Malcolm E. Nichols, winner of the unique 10 man race for the Boston Mayoralty, which is without precedent In American municipal history, casting his vote yesterday at Curtis Hall in Jamaica Plain. Warden Edward W. Frye is standing behind the ballot box. The new Mayor of Boston beat his nearest rival by 22,100. Mr. Nichols is the third Republican Mayor that Democratic Boston has voted into office in a quarter of century. He was formerly Collector of Internal Revenue, but resigned to enter the contest for Mayor.
