Hudson Bay, Canada c. 1930 Joe Apatok, Coppermine River Eskimo, builds his new home early this winter near Churchill. The igloo is 12 feet in diameter and built entirely of ice blocks and covered with snow. It houses Joe, his wife, two children and six sled dogs.
