This engraving, dating to around 1900, illustrates the Scott Memorial on Princes Street in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was constructed, in gothic style, between 1840 and 1846 as a memorial to the British novelist and poet Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832). The architect was George Kemp.
