Binding of Fenris
Légende
In Norse mythology, Fenris (also spelled Fenrir and Fenrisulfr) is a wolf. The son of the god, also called a giant, Loki and the giantess Angrboda, he was bound by the gods, as seen in this 1908 illustration by Dorothy Hardy. Fenris eventually grows too large for the bonds and breaks loose. He then swallows the great god Odin, but is slain by Odin's son.
