Servants our wine, serve tables, and carry trays piled with food for a group of Roman men at a banquet. the 1900 illustration is titled 'The Banquet of Crassus. Crassus was one of the wealthiest Romans in the first century B.C. Note the men reclining on couches, as was the custom at the time.
