Egyptian Goddess Isis
Légende
In ancient Egyptian mythology, Isis was the great mother goddess. She was revered as the wife of Osiris, the god of the dead, and with him the mother of Horus. Here her headdress is a disk with cow's horns, from her identification with the Hathor (the sky goddess who was represented by a cow and worshipped as a universal mother goddess).
