Dancer during a performance of ""La Farandole"", presented in mid-December 1883, adorned with electric jewels, Trouve system. In the scene of ""the temptation"", which takes place in the Arles Amphitheatre, a unanimous applause from the audience greeted the appearance of the Arlesian fairies wearing jewels and brilliant colours on their diadems, necklaces and overalls, as depicted in the engraving.
