History of Spain. Galicia. Province of Pontevedra. Tui International Bridge over the Mino river. It was designed by the engineer Pelayo Mancebo y Agreda (1845-1912). Construction work began in 1884, and it was officially opened on 25 March 1886. It provided a connection between the towns of Tui (Spain) and Valenca do Mino (Portugal). State of the works in February 1884, after the installation of three metal sections, of the total of five that would make it up. Engraving by Tomas Carlos Capuz (1834-1899).
