The Dutch artist Rembrandt (1606-1669) (full name-Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn) was a Dutch Golden Age painter, printmaker, and draughtsman and of the Dutch School of Amsterdam. Rembrandt painted this one of himself in old age. An innovative and prolific master in three media, Rembrandt is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art.
