Friedrich Franz Schnirch (7, 1791 in Patek near Laun, died November 25, 1868 in Vienna) was a German-Bohemian bridge engineer. He became known for the construction of chain bridges; he is one of the most important Austrian engineers of the first half of the 19th century.
