This is a scene from what Alice saw once she went through the Looking Glass and into the Looking Glass room in Lewis Carroll's ""Through the Looking Glass."" Here we see Alice rowing a boat and with her is a Sheep who is calmly knitting. Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) wrote the novel ""Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There"" in 1871 as a sequel to ""Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."".
