This illustration shows the Roman god of agriculture Saturn with his scythe in his chariot pulled by two winged serpents. It dates to 1695, an engraving by Lasinio, patterned after a roundel in the ceiling painting (based on drawings by Raphael) of the Sala Borgia in the Vatican that is based on drawings in 1516 by the Italian artist Raphael.
