In Norse mythology, Thor was the god of thunder, and thus the god of might and war. The son of Odin, he  had a magical hammer named Mjollnir that returned to him, a belt of stength, and iron gloves.  His chariot was pulled by two goats, Tanngrisni (""gap-tooth"" ) and Tanngnost (""tooth grinder"").
