GUATEMALA, Quetzatenango, Xela, "A back street in the outskirts of the Guatemalan town of Xela. A characteristic but slightly crumbling house sits baking in the sun in front sits a dry dusty road. The house itself is a little worn but glows a beautiful blue colour in the afternoon sun. On the front wall of the house sits the main entrance, a fairly grand double wooden door underneath proud stone archway. To the right sits the number of the house. An old indigenous woman slowly walks past the door of this house, dressed as a country person or 'campesino'. She carries a bundle of clothes and wears a cotton headdress to protect her from the strong sun. On the dusty ground infront of the house lies a lazy stray dog, taking advantage of the shade and the cool ground."
